Update 28 May 2020:
As per minister Dlamini-Zuma’s announcement of level 3 restrictions at 2 pm 28/05/20, travel is still prohibited. We will resume operations once the risk-adjusted strategy for economic activity reaches level 2 unless stated otherwise. All passengers booked between the 1st of June until we reach level 2 will automatically be put on credit until further notice, our systems have been closed for bookings between Friday 27 March 2020 and Tuesday 30 June 2020. All future bookings can still be made via our website.Update 24 April 2020:
As per the president’s address to the nation on Thursday 23 April 2020, our operations will only resume once the risk-adjusted strategy for economic activity reaches level 2 unless stated otherwise by the president. After the president’s address to the nation, we will stop operations from Thursday 26 March 2020 midnight and will resume operations currently on the morning of the 1st of May 2020 providing there is no extension on the lockdown. All passengers booked between the 27th and the 30th will automatically be put on credit until further notice, however, the onus is on the passenger to make contact with us to re-book their ticket/s. We urge customers to stop booking tickets until after the lockdown has been completed. Our systems have been closed for bookings between Friday 27 March 2020 and Thursday 30 April 2020. All future bookings can still be made via our website.

In light of the recent outbreak of COVID-19 worldwide, Margate Mini Coach / Margate Coach would like to assure our passengers that we take our passenger’s health and safety very seriously.
As COVID-19 passes 100 cases in South Africa we would like to advise our passengers should you not need to travel to rather postpone travel arrangements until further notice. Should you feel the need to postpone your travel and put your tickets on credit, you may contact us via our social media pages, email, live chat, and +27 39 312 1406.

Please be aware passengers not making contact with us and coming up as a no show will not be eligible for postponement, credit or refund.
We urge all passengers with bookings traveling from Italy, Iran, South Korea, Spain, Germany, the United States of America, the United Kingdom and China to make contact with us to postpone their travel until further notice.
We have increased our fleet cleaning efforts which includes strict disinfection before the vehicle departs from the depot and the airport. During this time, we urge our passengers to take necessary precautions to aid in preventative measures of contracting COVID-19 whilst traveling.
In the meantime, stay alert, wash your hands thoroughly, know the health status of those around you, and most importantly, if you are feeling ill, please seek medical treatment and avoid traveling until a doctor clears you to do so.
